This Privacy Policy explains how Mission ("Mission," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you visit our website at getmission.app (the "Site"), purchase access, or use the Mission mobile application (together, the "Services"). By using the Services, you agree to the practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
Mission is an independently operated product that provides an alarm application designed to help you wake up and start your day by completing a physical task before selected apps on your device unlock. The person responsible for your data (the "data controller") can be reached at mat.voshchykov@gmail.com.
Payments are processed by our payment provider, Whop. When you pay, you provide payment details (such as card information) directly to Whop and its downstream payment processors. We do not receive or store your full card number or security code. We receive limited transaction information from Whop, such as your email, the plan purchased, a payment identifier, and whether the payment succeeded.
The Mission app requires certain device permissions to function, which may include the ability to schedule alarms and notifications and to restrict or gate access to selected apps you choose. Where the app processes such information, it is used to provide the core alarm and app-locking features. To the extent the app can operate without transmitting this information to us, it does so on your device.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on the following legal bases: performance of a contract (to deliver access you purchased); our legitimate interests (to secure and improve the Services and prevent abuse); your consent (for example, where required for certain communications, which you may withdraw at any time); and compliance with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers who help us operate the Services, and only as needed:
| Provider | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Whop | Payment processing and checkout |
| Supabase | Database and backend that stores your email, access code, and purchase status |
| Brevo | Sending transactional email, such as your access code and receipt |
| Vercel | Website hosting, security infrastructure, and privacy-focused analytics |
We may also disclose information if required by law, to respond to lawful requests, to protect our rights, safety, or property, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, in which case we will require the recipient to honor this Policy.
Our providers may process and store information in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses to protect your information when it is transferred internationally.
We keep your information for as long as needed to provide the Services and for legitimate business or legal purposes, such as maintaining your lifetime or subscription access, keeping records of purchases and agreements, resolving disputes, and complying with tax, accounting, and legal requirements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
We aim to keep tracking to a minimum. Our analytics provider is configured to be privacy-focused and does not build cross-site advertising profiles. Essential technologies may be used to deliver and secure the Site. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work without them.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. If you are a California resident, you have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, delete, and correct personal information and the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising your rights. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. To exercise any right, email mat.voshchykov@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on your request.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections, verified payment webhooks, and restricted access to our backend. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The Services are not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
The Services may link to third-party sites or services, including our payment provider and the app stores. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, and we encourage you to review their policies.
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above, and material changes may be communicated by email or through the Services. Your continued use after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
If you have questions about this Policy or your information, contact us at mat.voshchykov@gmail.com.
